Oooh Anne - fingers (metaphorically) crossed the op finally goes ahead, and wishing you the very best of luck! I`ve just come back from a week`s holiday, so late in adding my good wishes.

Take care,

Kathleen x

The big day came at the end of October. It went well although the plaster back slab to stabilize the joint stopped any feeling in my
hand.
It was taken off and replaced 3 days later. when all well again.
That was on for 2 weeks and then FREEDOM.

Now I am moving my whole arm better than for several years without RA pain.

YIPPEE. The left elbow may need doing at a later stage but won't be half as worried about a nerve block instead of general anaesthetic.
Hoping to use scooter very soon and then drive in new year. Only in good weather!

Hi Anne,

I`m so pleased the op went well - it will be great for you to have such good movement in your arm.

Enjoy your scooter - no doing wheelies, mind!!

Take care,

Kathleen x

Just to reassure everyone that at 3 months since op. my elbow is absolutely fine.
No swelling or pain and much more "natural" movements. YIPPEE
